Do Jake Wood and Jo Joyner deserve to win at the British Soap Awards?
Talking point: one of this week's big soap topics

EastEnders’ Jo Joyner (who plays Tanya Branning) wants to win Best On-Screen Partnership at the British Soap Awards as she thinks Max and Tanya Branning deserve something good.
Jo told the EastEnders website: "I'd like to get the couples one to be fair, because I do think it's nice for Max and Tanya to be up for that, because I'm quite fond of them as a couple."Do you think Jake and Jo should win the award above some of the other couples nominated?
A reminder: it’s Doctors’ Matthew Chambers and Elisabeth Dermot-Walsh (who play Daniel Granger and Zara Carmichael), Emmerdale’s Jeff Hordley and Emma Atkins (as Cain Dingle and Charity Sharma) and Hollyoaks’ Ashley Taylor Dawson and Jessica Fox (playing Darren and Nancy Osborne), who are also nominated.
Max and Tanya are one of the leading EastEnders couples, and they’ve been through a lot. In terms of the actors playing them - Jake Wood and Jo Joyner have definite chemistry together, but I also like Emmerdale’s Jeff Hordley and Emma Atkins.
The relationship they portray (Cain and Charity) has had just as many twists and turns (same for Doctors’ Matthew Chambers and Elisabeth Dermot-Walsh as Daniel Granger and Zara Carmichael, really).
So – who should win this Saturday? Should it really be Jake Wood and Jo Joyner? Share your views by leaving a comment.
