It's another Slice of Soap so welcome to yet another busy week in soapland. Let's start by congratulating Coronation Street on a wonderful tribute episode to the late, great Betty Driver. That was beautifully done.

Don't forget to try this week's caption competition. It's really easy. All you have to do is come up with a line to make us all laugh. You can enter as many times as you like.

Let's find out what's happening in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks over the next few days (spoilers ahead).

Enders' talking point: Patsy Palmer, who plays Bianca, is leaving EastEnders for six months. As a result, this family will be out of Albert Square for a while. Are you glad to see them go? Or do you think EastEnders will miss them?

Emmerdale w/e Friday 27 April

This week in Emmerdale, Ashley's actions will come back to haunt him. Megan tries to block out the past. Meanwhile, Lisa’s devastated when Zak tells her his cancer could be back. Chas wonders how she’ll cope working with Cameron. Declan’s determined to help Megan, feeling he knows best. Ashley and Laurel struggle to keep up with their charade.

Chas secretly enjoys working with Cameron. Declan’s exasperated trying to get through to Megan about her son. Ashley's forced to hear some home truths. Meanwhile, news of his mistreatment of Sandy is beginning to spread.

Emmerdale talking point: Emmerdale actor John Middleton isn't a fan of the storyline which sees his character Ashley mistreating his elderly dad. Do you think this is a good storyline? Or is it too obviously a push for ratings?

Coronation Street w/e Friday 27 April

The cobbles will see huge drama this week. A panicked David realises he’s gone too far when his grandmother Audrey collapses with a heart attack.

Corrie talking point: When ex-EastEnders star Michelle Collins joined Coronation Street as Stella Price, it soon became clear that fans didn't like her. She's nearly a year into the role, how do you think she's doing? Do you think she fits into Corrie? Would you be glad to see the back of her?

Hollyoaks w/e Friday 27 April

It's all go in Hollyoaks as Ally finally returns, only to have Ste ruin his and Amy's afternoon. Phoebe's mum Mel turns up unannounced at Jacqui and Rhys' flat, determined to get her daughter back. George secretly arranges for Callum and Maddie to meet - but how will they both react when faced with each other?

Meanwhile, Bart has a new role model in the form of Joel as they go into business together. Mercy and Jacqui's sisterly bond is renewed as they search for runaway Phoebe. Rhys is shocked at Phoebe's revelation that her mum is a prostitute. Doug helps Ste with his online dating profile. Meanwhile, Bart and Joel's club night couldn't be going any better, until Maddie ruins everything.

Elsewhere, in a bid to impress her 'friend', Ruby smokes weed, which has a bad effect. Brendan arrives back and puts Joel firmly in his place after the disastrous club night. Maddie takes her guilty mood out on everyone, but her mask finally slips when Callum tells her exactly how he feels about her. Mitzeee gives Sinead a stylish new makeover. Ruby's social status hangs in the balance as Jack makes her pay for her night out.

Hollyoaks talking point: As a character, Phoebe has split fans - some like her, some don't. Does the revelation that her mum is a prostitute make her more sympathetic to you?
