Cat Deeley has made a big name for herself across the pond as the host of So You Think You Can Dance? on the Fox network. 

 

Little wonder she's been snapped up for The Choice, the broadcaster's new celebrity dating series airing from 7 June.

 

A televisual amalgam of singing talent show The Voice and perennial fave The Bachelor, The Choice looks like being the juiciest guilty pleasure this summer.

 

So, who are the celebrities taking part? And how does it work? Check out the trailer.

 

And let's hope this show makes it across the Atlantic; it looks sooooo bad, it's bound to be a goodie.

Unreality TV strikes again, just when you think there are no more twists to a dead format. Thrush TV as I call it (...... its truly irritating) just goes on and on, why are the various TV companies so determined??? Its cheap and tacky, serves no real purpose and provides nothing more than an electronic sedative. We don't watch TV much anymore and shows like this are primarily the reason. Whingeing on here is more entertaining in 2 minutes than an hour of meaningless dribble DisappointedYAWNDisappointed

  Oh GREAT another dating show.  With another GREAT celeb whom we all love and adore a lot. Remember her with Ant and Dec on that great saturday morning program?

        It was GREAT for the kids!!     

 Wonder how it'll work?

Why dosen't  Davina do one? Or Cheryl Cole? Or the gals from Atomic Kitten?

They'd all be GREAT!!!!!     

         Pity they can't find some way of having a "call- in " to raise some cash for BT and charity.  That would be GREAT.
