British TV presenter, Alexa Chung, joins Gossip Girl

Alexa Chung has been photographed on the set of Gossip Girl.

Of all the TV shows I would love to have a cameo on, it would defintely by CW’s Gossip Girl. I get giddy just imagining all the fabulous outfits I would get to wear and just imagine the possibility of kissing Chace Crawdford. Yum.

British TV presenter, Alexa Chung, doesn’t have to fantasise about appearing on the scandalous drama like us mere mortals though, as she’s only gone and nabbed a part on the show!

The 28-year-old was photographed on the set of the show in New York filming scenes for the sixth and final (sob!) series. Alexa, who shot to fame presenting on T4, is now a renowned fashion icon, so I can see why the producers of Gossip Girl have snapped her up like she was a pair of limited edition Jimmy Choos.

It’s not known whether Alexa will be making a swift cameo appearance on the show as herself, or if she’s got a full-blown part.

Try as I might, I just can’t imagine Alexa acting – but who knows, she could be a Keira Knightley in the making...

MSN TV will be keeping you updated with any other news surrounding Alexa’s mysterious (and envy-inducing) appearance on the set of Gossip Girl.
