Watch: trailer for Warren Brown's Good Cop, featuring Boardwalk Empire's Stephen Graham

News and gossip from the world of TV

As BBC2's hugely successful Line of Duty demonstrated, we can't get enough of cop dramas. If you have withdrawal symptoms, hold tight for a moment because there is more to come.

Warren Brown (of Luther fame) takes his first starring role in Good Cop, a new four-part drama series. He will play PC Rocksavage (that's some name!), a young Liverpudlian cop whose life and career is thrown into turmoil when his best friend is murdered.

The trailer airs tonight during BBC1's Olympics coverage, but you can take a look at it now.

The cast also includes Stephen Graham (Boardwalk Empire) and Michael Angelis (Boys From The Blackstuff). It's a fab trailer - evocative and atmospheric. Can't wait to see the series itself.
