Dancing On Ice: Dangerous moves axed! Jennifer Ellison sliced in training

The emergency services are called for the actress once more...

Should the skaters be receiving danger money this season? Is the competition just too steep? It seems the celebrities are literally risking life and limb to make it to the top!

Dancing on Ice celebrities have reportedly been banned from attempting dangerous moves on this week's show. The skaters had new lifts and jumps planned in the hope of impressing the judges and surviving this week's double eviction but Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have barred anything 'too risky' after Jennifer Ellison sliced her leg during rehearsals.

A source told the Daily Mirror: "She had to stop rehearsals immediately and rush off for stitches because the bleeding was quite heavy. Her confidence was already fragile and now she is going to be in pain on Sunday's show."

It had to be the final straw for Torvill and Dean and coach Karen Barber as this is the second serious injury for Jennifer Ellison.

Three of the skaters have been hit hard by both injury and the ban. Matthew Wolfenden has been forced to alter his routine after a groin strain, Jorgie Porter has been asked to drop her head-banger move and the coaches have simplified one of Heidi Range's lifts.

Do you think the routines should be changed or should the skaters be allowed to make the call?

In a competition, people will push themselves to the limit and not always within their capabilities! Someone needs to keep an eye out for them and say when enough is enough! These are celeb's after all......not experts!

I don't think its down to them - if the producers say they can't do the moves then that's it...
