As Kelly Fox brought the house down on Britain's Got Talent with her rendition of Kiss My Ass, Simon Cowell slapped the lips on Amanda Holden's buttocks! Can you imagine the look on the Queen's face?

(C) ITVKelly told the judges:

"I like to put a smile on people’s faces and I am hoping that I will get to the end of my song and people will be singing it with me.

I think the royal family are absolutely fantastic and it would be an honour to perform in front of the queen. One pensioner in front of the other.

I have always sang from a very young age and BGT for me is my life chance, to get through would make me really happy. Something to think about in my rocking chair."

The judges couldn't quite believe what they were seeing but they were more than impressed.

Simon gushed, “Kelly I’ve got to say, you are an inspiration. You really are, you are. I love you. You’re like a little tiger aren’t you. I love the song and I’m going to remember you. I think you’re terrific.”

Amanda was still in shock from Simon's kiss. She told Kelly, “You’ve got sex appeal, you’ve got loads of energy, aggression, you’re really feisty. I love that song.”

Simon – “I kissed your ass.”

Amanda – “You did kiss my ass. Thank you.”

Simon – “Did you like that?”

Amanda – “It was a first."

I've spent all my time saying Simon Cowell and David Walliams should have their own show. Perhaps Simon and Amanda should get a room! LOL!

Simon Cowell has suggested that Spice Girls Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell look like drag queens.

On Saturdays' Britain's Got Talent, Cowell says of transvestite duo Bosom Buddies: "It’s like Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham separating away from the Spice Girls and doing a duet."

(C) ITV
Teacher Mark (aka Bernie) and building yard worker Stuart (aka Brenda) sing La Vie en Rose by Edith Piaf. The pair laugh off Simon's jibes by saying they are "better looking" than The Spice Girls "and better singers".

Cowell giggled during his critique, "there is a resemblance, particularly you (Stuart). I’m still struggling a little bit with this."

The question is, will they make it through?

All the latest news and gossip from Britain's Got Talent...

Ant McPartlin saw his life flash before his eyes when he was dragged on stage by Britain’s Got Talent ‘mentalist’ Aaron Crow. The Geordie TV presenter couldn't believe it when blindfolded Aaron drew his sword and sliced a pineapple in two... on his head.

Trouser change for McPartlin!

(C) ITV
The Belgian extreme entertainer smothered his face in dripping hot candle wax, before blindfolding himself and adding a guard across his face. He prepared his blades and the country held it's breath as he paused before the strike.

The 44 year old refused to speak to the judges prior to his terrifying performance as producers had been told he had to be in a ‘certain mental zone’. Simon Cowell was literally foaming at the mouth, he's been looking for an act like this since the show started.

"It's a great act. I love the idea of watching something where there is a possibility that someone could actually die, and the fact that it was Ant made it more exciting, I’ve got to be honest with you."

(C) ITV
David Walliams was in awe: "I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. We were all on the edge of our seats because we thought this man just could be a nutter."

Simon was the first to say Aaron would need to up his game for the semi finals by using smaller fruit. He added that David Walliams would be the perfect stooge.

Poor David was ready to hide under the table!

Seriously if I read another story about Simon Cowell conning the nation, I'm going to feed myself to Pudsey the dog! It's not about finding undiscovered talent, it's all about something the Queen would like to see. Who cares if they've had five minutes of fame or not. Give them a break, it's not like they're Madonna!

(C) ITV
The whole point of Britain's Got Talent is to showcase talent... that is all. The national press seems to have done nothing all week but research Saturday's acts so as to dig up their ten seconds on telly or week as a warm up act.

The hit list so far are:

Richard and Adam Johnson (above) - the singing duo have spent the past year performing at venues around the country and singing on P&O cruises.

(C) ITV
CEO Dancers - the ladies have toured with Afrobeats artist D’Banj and supported Labrinth and Rita Ora.

(C) ITV
Pop'arrazi Crew - the dance act have worked in the Netherlands and appeared on Holland's Got Talent and Got To Dance.

(C) ITV
Francine Lewis - our favourite BGT impressionist has appeared on various shows over the past 15 to years to try and get her break.

Does any of this make them 'established'? If so, so what!
Since Britain's Got Talent started we've all known that the hideous and hilarious acts 'somehow' make it past producers to the main stage. This show is about entertaining the viewers at home, be they car crash or contracted does it really make a difference?

A BGT spokesman said it all, "Anyone can apply for Britain's Got Talent whether they are professional or amateur, irrespective of their past experience and all contestants are auditioned on merit."

If I bumped into Cowell tomorrow I'd shake his hand. As ever Saturday's show was the perfect blend of silly and sensational, the man's a genius... and as for the acts, their just trying to leap into the limelight and stay there - I say let them.

'There is nothing to see here... no con... please move along.'

Dance act Pop'arazzi have slammed Britain's Got Talent for editing their act and altering their music.

The Dutch dance crew who have already appeared on Holland's Got Talent took to twitter to air their views about last night's show.

(C) ITV

They tweeted: 'Switching up the order of choreography, dubbing in a totally different song and only using close up's can heavily alter an act.'

Ouch!

Pop'arazzi sent me this video of how the 'proper version' should look, "without all that weirdness edited in."

"You saw a 30 second edit of the first version of Amelie on tv. The full version was 2.5 minutes long, and most have never seen it since it's not on YouTube."

Take a look for yourself, do you think they're right to be unhappy?

What a night it was on Britain's Got Talent! Tears, talent and tantrums aplenty but who stood out? It had to be Shadow Theatre Company 'Attraction'. They left judge Amanda Holden in tears!

(C) ITV
The Hungarian shadow theatre company put on a smart and strangely moving show. The judges were captivated throughout, and as the love story unfolded ending in death... Amanda broke down.

(C) ITVImaginative, amazing and emotional. Life as art and truly something not to be missed. Attraction have to be contenders for the final.

(C) ITV
Amanda could barely speak for the tears, while Simon Cowell gushed. "That's got to be one of the best auditions we've seen. If not the best."

Holden smiled, "something like that could win!"

(C) ITVJack Carroll has to make the final! At just 14, this young comedian stole the show with his quirky stand-up act - he had everyone in stitches.

Jack suffers from cerebral palsy and his act was a send-up of his own condition. He had the judges laughing before he'd even started.

“I know what you’re thinking,” he said, glancing down at his walking frame. “Harry Potter’s had a nasty Quidditch accident.”

(C) ITVAnd finally, Alice Fredenham surprised everyone with a sultry, sexy and sensuous version of My Funny Valentine. Simon Cowell was seeing dollar signs, “Your voice is like liquid gold."

The judges were more impressed by Alice's humility, "you are so humble, you have no idea how good you are."

Who was your favourite act on the night?

It was a close call but the dog had it's day and Jonathan and Charlotte were left standing...

By SelenaLedgerton 12/05/2012 22:29

I have to say, I can't tell you happy I am. Ashleigh Butler and Pudsey the pooch have won Britain's Got Talent 2012. In a final that can only be described as sensational, the pair wowed the judges with their Mission Impossible routine and left show favourites Jonathan and Charlotte standing.

(C) Rex

It was a tough night to call with amazing performances from Irish singer-songwriter Ryan O'Shaughnessy, Brit-band The Loveable Rogues and of course pop-era sensation Jonathan and Charlotte... but the moment Pudsey and Ashleigh began, you just knew that it was theirs.

Pudsey was on top form and as the Mission Impossible theme kicked in, Ashleigh jumped into action and her best friend shadowed her every move. The pair crept, leapt, crawled and clambered their way through a save-the-world style routine and with every stunt and trick, the crowd squealed with joy. The judges looked on and were particularly taken by the desk section as Pudsey crept on his belly infront of them as steathily as Tom Cruise himself!

One standing ovation later and the result was obvious.

Simon was in awe: 'One of my favourtie ever acts. You know how much I love dogs. I adore both of you Ashleigh and Pudsey. You've got better and better. What you've done is such a short time is a miracle.'

David enthused: 'I can't believe you've come out here and done another new act. The nation has fallen in love with you and Pudsey.'

On hearing they'd won, Ashleigh burst into tears and hugged her hound to within an inch of his life. "I'm so proud of Pudsey!" Ant McPartlin reminded her that she'd just won half a million pounds and she was literally lost for words. One person who wasn't lost for words was Simon Cowell, finally he had his winning dog act. "My working life is now complete!"

Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli were the last to perform with a powerful rendition of The Prayer.

Simon was touched: "Tonight's made me feel quite emotional. You're both talented and your loyalty and friendship makes you special."

Amanda managed to censor herself after wanting to curse: "Just ridiculously good. If I could swear, I would say .... me, you're brilliant!"

Jonathan Antoine couldn't believe they made the Top 3, "to get such amazing comments from the judges is brilliant. Thank you so much to everyone who's voted!"

Charlotte Jaconelli was humble in defeat. "Wow, second place out of all this talent. That's amazing!"

Do you think the right act won or should Jonathan and Charlotte have snatched the top spot?

Who's tipped for the top and all the grand final gossip...

By SelenaLedgerton 12/05/2012 10:58

It's Saturday, and that can mean only one thing - the Britain's Got Talent grand final! It's been an amazing season and we've witnessed more than our fair shair of talented and tone-deaf, as well as a lorra' laughable but loveable lunatics. The question is, who will take the title? Four acts stand above the rest...

(C) Rex
Ryan O'Shaughnessy

I think the public made it clear on Thursday night that Ryan deserved a place in the final and why not? Like the judges say he's 'an amazing singer songwriter' and that's what really matters. He may have been shunned by his not-so-secret crush and been knocked by bad press after Simon discovered he'd signed a contract with another show, but thankfully the public knew the truth (The Voice had no intention of using him) and put him through to tonight's final on merit alone. Like Simon Cowell, I think Ryan could be the dark horse of this competition. Usually when acts perform their own compositions the judges are bored not blown away.

(C) Rex

Jonathan and Charlotte

Talk about a Paul Potts moment! After their semi-final performance Simon Cowell admitted that Jonathan was right to stay with Charlotte, but frankly I'm still not convinced. Jonathan has an awesome talent and although his best friend compliments his voice, I see only one face on future albums...

The pair are tipped to win this year's Britain's Got Talent but I think this could be another Susan Boyle/Diversity moment and regardless of his sensational vocal ability, he could be pipped at the post. Think back, Jai McDowall won last year and frankly what an anti-climax that was. Do we really want another warbling winner? Isn't it time for something current, something different? This is not The X Factor.

(C) ITV

Pudsey and Ashleigh

I admire Ashleigh. Not only has she trained her little hound to superstar level but she's genuinely lovely. After speaking to them both (Pudsey woofed a bit) I was impressed by the fact that she's in no way thrown by the enormity of the show, or Simon for that matter. Regardless of Cowell requesting that the pooch puts on a constume, Ashleigh refused "If Pudsey's not happy then I'm not happy. He won't be wearing a suit." All she cares about is her four-legged friend and their relationship is obvious - love and nothing more. That's what makes their act so special, not to mention the fact that the dog can dance (and walk) like a human! They'll need to come up with something sensational to win but I'm sure they'll land some amazing opportunities regardless. One for the Top 3?

(C) Rex

Loveable Rogues

Who cares if someone from the show called them and asked them to audition, as the lads said if they wouldn't have known the auditions were happening then they'd never have gone. They sang infront of the judges like everyone else, so I don't know what all of the fuss is about!

The point is that these boys have talent, raw bite-your-teeth into it, British talent. And considering there's been so many people moaning about the amount of overseas acts this year, we should be counting our blessings that we have them! Unbelievably catchy songs, instruments, slick licks and ground level lyrics. Down to earth lads, who can really sing!

TONIGHT'S FINAL:

It promises to be a show like no other – packed to the rafters with the best talent around. 50,000 applicants are now the final ten and the judges have travelled over 1,200 miles to find a star.

Tonight, the finalists perform for the last time and the winner will be decided by the public. The judges views are just that... it's all down to you.

The 'wildcard' will be selected from the 35 semi-finalists that didn't quite make it. They'll join Ashleigh & Pudsey; Only Boys Aloud; Jonathan & Charlotte; Kai & Natalia; Loveable Rogues; Molly Rainford; Sam Kelly; Nu Sxool; Ryan O’Shaughnessy and Aquabatique in tonight's final and have just one shot at the grand prize.

2009 winners Diversity will perform during the show and that's not all... if you want a tip, keep your eyes peeled for a few surprises!

This year, the winner of Britain's Got Talent not only has the opportunity to perform at the 2012 Royal Variety Performance, they will also receive a life changing £500,000 - £250,000 of which will come from Simon Cowell's own pocket.

So who's your hot tip for the final? Let's not forget we also have a wildcard entry, who'll be the judges favourite failure?
