Britain's Got Talent: Alesha Dixon reveals her favourite

The best and worst of tonight's show...

Tonight's Britain's Got Talent had everything from a nervous impersonator to a Columbian with overactive hips - now there's not many shows you can say that about!

12 year old Laura kicked off the show in style with her own version of Turn My Swag On by Keri Hilson. No, it wasn't Cher Lloyd all over again. Laura performed with her guitar, sang nothing if not sweetly and impressed the judges without the attitude and pin heel boots.

Simon Cowell was beaming. "I love that you chose your own song rather than your parents choosing it for you and that you have that posh twang. A posh 'turn my swag on' - I like it."

Impressionist Marea was hilarious. She may have been shy to begin with but the moment she became 'someone else' she shone.

It's so difficult for acts like this on BGT, they're few and far between and rarely make the final. Thankfully Marea's Anne Robinson had the crowd rolling about and with a well thought out routine (based on the weakest link) she was through.

The Loveable Rogues won me over in seconds. Three down-to-earth cockney wideboys destined to sing, jam and make a massive impression on the judges. One guitar, one ukelele and three voices that blended perfectly. Need I say more?

David Walliams liked that fact that they were distinctly British while Alesha Dixon was blown away, "I think you're my favourite act so far."

Dance act Karizma Krew may have made it through to the next round but it wasn't without controversy. Simon Cowell was convinced that choreographer Tim had staged the act. "You've obviously created this to showcase yourself." I had to laugh when David Walliams said, "well that's what you do Simon!" Classic.

And finally... we had Chica Latina.
Chica performed (if you can call it that) her own rendition of Tina Turner's River Deep, Mountain High. Sure, she could shake her hips like there was no tomorrow but she couldn't sing! I was dumbfounded as to why the judges put her through... my only guess is that they're looking for another Wagner. My ears are still bleeding from it! Can you say Margarita Pracatan?
