Britain's Got Talent: Top 5 most memorable auditions
No doubt there'll be more to come...
Now that ITV have revealed the Britain's Got Talent semi final dates, it's time to cast our minds back and remember who's stood out from the crowd... Please note that 'stood out' isn't always a good thing!
(Insert flashback music here...)
Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli's pop-opera 'popera' performance has been viewed over 11 million times. The pair hit the headlines after Simon advised Jon to dump Charlotte and he refused. Cowell compared the 17 year old to Pavarotti branding him a 'future star' while judge Alesha Dixon comforted Jaconelli, "your voice compliments Jonathan so don't be disheartened."
Possibly one of the strangest auditions to date. Denis Egel gave an ususual rendition of Evanescence's Bring Me To Life while plumes of gold lamé shot from his backside (no joke!). If the sight of him and his golden shower cap isn't enough to make you laugh, Ant McPartlin attempting to repair his shoddy costume will be.
Ryan O'Shaughnessy sang his romantic song No Name for his secret crush and captured the nation's hearts. The question is, will he appear in the semi-finals? He appeared on the Irish version of The Voice last year and (although there's no plans to work with him) he has a contract with Universal Music?
Ashley Butler and her dog Pudsey wowed the crowed with their Flintstones themed performance. No doubt the judges have sat through a plethora of pooches but this one was different. Pudsey had pep and personality, could walk like a human and dance - Cowell adored him and the relationship between dog and owner was second to none.
Unfortunately Simon wants Pudsey in a costume next time round and Ashley's told us exclusively that it's not happening. "I'm concerned it could put him off and if Pudsey's not happy, I'm not happy." Could that be their downfall?
And finally... we have the beautiful Beatrix Von Bourbon. This burlesque babe made the audience laugh as well as raising a few eyebrows (including Simon's). I'll say two words 'nipple tassels' and then let you be the judge...
Who's been your stand out performance?
