Big Brother: Scott Mason Interview

We chatted to eleventh Big Brother evictee Scott Mason about life in the house, his one liners and his shocking but sensational eviction.

You were such a good housemate, the most popular reaction so far. What did you get right that the others didn't?

Oh God knows, I've no idea. What did I do right?

Did you make a conscious effort to stay out of the bitching was it that?

I just hate it when groups form. There's people on both sides talking about each other and it just feels wrong to me. People saying things about people I like, I've never been one for groups, I have my own opinion.

Would you have liked a nice handsome man in the house that you fancied?

Oh yes I'd have loved that. I'd have been so happy to find love in the house, I was quite jealous of Ashleigh and Luke in that respect.

Would you have gone as far as Ashleigh and Luke did under the covers?

Oh goodness yes, I really don't care about these things. I would probably have done it on top of the covers though... if you did it under the covers it wouldn't really matter would it (he laughs).

So you don't have any regrets?

I only regret being nasty to Caroline about the chocolate thing, I think I was a bit harsh.

Do you have any regrets about not joining one of the groups, it seems they nominated you this week as you weren't part of either group?

Yes I think that's exactly what happened but like I said, I had no intention of joining any groups.

And are you enjoying the fame so far or will you be going back to normal?

I'll probably disappear off to Marbella or Majorca for a bit but this is far better than the Dominos job... yes much better. I've had a fantastic week, I had my party and I was so glad that Ashleigh came out with me because we said we can go for drinks this week and I've finally got no limit on alcohol... I'm an alcoholic (he laughs).

If this is fame then yes, I like it.

Was it frustrating to not make the final?

It was a bit annoying because you get so far. I said that I was happy just to make it through week one, so I didn't really care.

A lot of people think Luke S is faking his relationship with Ashleigh, do you think that's fair point?

God I don't know. At one point I didn't know what to make of it. Ashleigh's body language said that she was besotted with him and he did a lot for her... you don't have a clue in there, you're constantly questioning everything.

I wasn't sure at one point because they hate everything about each other and argue about everything. Then I thought to myself that I've been with a man and hated everything about him but I've still fancied him and loved him.

Who do you want to win?

Sara. Obviously Sara was my best friend in the house, she's so lovely and so straight forward, she hates bitching - everything she feels she'll say it to your face, she can't help it. She's kind, she doesn't give a s**t about the judgemental people and never judges anyone at all. I really love Sara and I'd love her to win.

Should Scott have left?
