Big Brother: Arron Lowe evicted!

Arron Lowe is the fifth housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house. His pubescent pranks weren't enough to save him, nor was his bromance with Conor. Becky, Deana and Conor survive for another week.

On hearing the news, Conor stormed off from the sofa area and punched the wall. He was gutted that Arron was going and frustrated to be left in the house with the others...

THE INTERVIEW:

Arron's asked how he feels about being evicted: "I'm not that bothered. I wonder what people have seen, I'll be checking that. I'll probably be booing myself!"

Why did you and Conor take nominations so personally this week, both of you? "I think it's because we're so close, we're like the bromance. We both reacted in the same way."

He watched a montage of his pranks: "I didn't care but I didn't realise I was that bad. I'm 23 years of age and I was acting like a ten year old. It was intense though, switching a light off was breaking the rules in there and in the real world I can do that whenever I like."

How do you feel about being called Conor's lapdog? "I did my own thing, I acted spontaneously. He was my best mate."

What do you think about the housemates saying your behaviour was intimidating? "I didn't want to be seen as a bully because that's not what I am, I am a nice guy."

And finally, Deana. "She's alright, she's not that bad. She was just too boring. The public saw me as a little torment and saw what I didn't see."

During Arron's exit interview, presenter Brian Dowling revealed that Big Brother had punished Arron's team for his rule breaking. His remaining team mates have lost the territories they won AND this week's luxury budget - they worked so hard for it too.
